Ishwarya Murali Ph.D.Postdoctoral Research Fellow
B-Tech in Biotechnology, SASTRA University, India, 2009 Ph.D. in Pharmacology, Physiology & Neuroscience, Rutgers University, NJ, 2017 Ishwarya joined Dana-Farber in September 2017 and her projects in the laboratory mainly focus on understanding the primary and acquired mechanisms of resistance to recently developed novel agents in CLL and evaluating patterns of clonal evolution in these patients both before and during therapy with the novel agents. This work will help us identify predictive biomarkers of who will achieve MRD negativity to each class of drugs and identify novel targets for newer drug development to push for deeper remissions and possible curative therapies. In her free time, Ishwarya enjoys travelling, sports and playing with her 3-year-old daughter. |
